Each of the kitchens in the 3 apartments has an electric hob with 2 normal-sized and one small flame (for preparing Greek coffee), and a small built-in oven.
They are also equipped with extractor fans, double sinks from high-grade steel, and big refrigerators with separate freezer compartments.
The essential pots and pans, dishes and plates, cutlery and glassware are available, furthermore coffee makers, electric kettles, toasters, sandwich toasters, and small frappé beaters.

The kitchenette at Studio Arokaria has a normal-sized refrigerator with freezer compartment. Else, it is equipped the same way as the apartments are.

Whoever does not like to cook during his holidays can book breakfast and/or dinner in the in-house taverna.
Dinner is varied, and of course it is possible to speak with the host about the arrangement. In any case, dinner includes per person 1/2 liter of white or red wine from the landlord's own production.
Furthermore, Taverna Kastro grants a 15 % discount to guests of the Kastro Apartments, on all prices as shown in the taverna's menu.

In the village center of  Panormo one can find numerous tavernas and restaurants to any taste and budget.
There are also supermarkets with a rich choice of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetable, and other shops.
For bigger shoppings, a trip to the nearest LIDL market at Tsesmes near Rethymnon by the National Road (16 kms) will pay as they offer plenty of budget imported foodstuffs.
